Dear Friends,
Season's greetings from the entire EarthEra team. It is hard to believe that 2010 is just around the corner. While the past year has been filled with difficult economic conditions, we are inspired to see that important climate and energy issues have not fallen by the wayside. Proof of this is in the incredible response we have received for our EarthEra program. Since April when USA Today first shared the news of our launch, numerous forward-thinking businesses, colleges and consumers have embraced our initiative by supporting the program and committing over $22 million to the EarthEra Renewable Energy Trust. Every penny of revenue will be used to reduce carbon emissions and build new renewable energy facilities. We are grateful that so many organizations are seeing the value of joining EarthEra with the shared goal of accelerating domestic wind and solar power development, fighting climate change and building a clean energy economy.
